About the author

My name is Kevin May, and I’m an aspiring author living in Nashville, Tennessee. Originally from northern Mississippi, where I was born and raised, I moved to Nashville in 2010. My love for literature and reading was inspired by my parents: my dad, who read history books about the shaping of America, and my mom, who was a fan of mystery and thriller fiction. Reading has been a constant presence in my life, leading me to take as many literature courses as possible during my studies.

By day, I’m a land surveyor with 20 years of experience exploring landscapes and mapping the world around me. But when the day quiets, I immerse myself in the world of fantasy, where decisions, love, and betrayal shape destinies. My stories revolve around the emotional growth of characters as they navigate the intricate world of Agotis—where even the smallest details can have lasting consequences.

Writing began as a personal journey, a way to work through life’s complexities and explore how emotions, choices, and connections shape our paths and the experiences we create with others.

When I’m not writing or surveying, you’ll often find me riding motorcycles or working on them, and spending time with my three daughters and beautiful wife.
